Dear Families,
I am excited to share with our community a new partnership the district has with “Twin County Recovery Services.” This organization is working with our school district community to provide prevention and substance abuse treatment for our students and families who need it. Twin Recovery will also provide prevention counseling and will have opportunities to work in our classrooms to teach social emotional learning. Twin County Services will be hosting a New Lebanon parent education/information night on November 30, 2023 at 6:30 in the Jr/Sr. High gymnasium. They will share with us drug trends, including vapes/dabs, and give parents tips on how to support their children who are dealing with drug, alcohol, and tobacco abuse. This opportunity is open to NL parents and guardians of all ages. More specific information will be provided as we get closer, but be sure to save the date.
