How Do I Pay My Taxes?

Payment Options

Online:
Taxpayers can pay their bills online through Info Tax Online. Enter your information, click “search,” and select the “Pay Balance” tab at the bottom left of the screen. Please note that convenience fees apply to all online payments.

By Mail:

Payments can be made during the collection period from September 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024. Please make checks payable to:
New Lebanon CSD ℅ The Bank of Greene County
PO Box 1025, Woodstock, NY 12498

Ensure the payment is for the exact amount due and made payable to “New Lebanon CSD.” Include the original tax bill with your payment. Mail payments to:

Note: Partial payments will not be accepted.

In Person:
You can also make payments in person at The Bank of Greene County, 2631 Route 66, Ghent. Please bring your tax bill with you. Note: Partial payments will not be accepted.

Be sure to double-check your payment before mailing: 

Is the payment amount correct?

Is it dated correctly?

Is it signed?

Did you include the 2% penalty if postmarked during the period of October 1 -October 31?
Is it November 1st or later? STOP. The school tax collector can no longer accept your payment.  

WHERE CAN I PAY MY TAX BILL AFTER THE TAX COLLECTION PERIOD ENDS?

No taxes will be accepted by the tax receiver after October 31st.  In November, any unpaid school taxes and penalties are turned over to the Columbia County Treasurer/Rensselaer County Bureau of Finance and are subject to additional penalties. 

Please contact your County Treasurer’s Office with any questions regarding unpaid taxes after the aforementioned 60 days.
