“Join us for a screening of an award-winning film, Microplastic Madness, which explains the extent and hazards of plastic in our world through the eyes of children. Following the film we will have a Q&A.”

The FASNY Museum of Firefighting is offering a FREE program on Saturday, March 28th, at 10:30am as part of the Museum’s Super Saturday Series. “Princess and Protector Party” is a chance for girls and boys to celebrate Women’s History Month by spending the day with local female firefighters. The program gives kids the opportunity to talk with real firefighters and be inspired by their stories. The kids will also have the opportunity to try on real firefighter equipment, create a craft, and complete the Jr. Firefighter Challenge.

New Lebanon Town Community Center and Free Store
Featuring a game room with foosball, ping pong, or hockey and pool, a video game area and a cozy corner for watching DVDs and TV and reading and hanging with friends. The free store opened at the New Community Center in December of 2023, but it has been around since May of 2017. The open hours for the free store are now Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays from noon to 5:00 p.m., (enter through Free Store door only) Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (enter through Free Store door only) During hours that just the free store is open, we ask that you enter directly into the free store which is the door to the left of the main entrance to avoid other private events that might be going on in the main room. Donations for the free store can be dropped at the free store during open hours or at the Town Hall during open hours, Monday through Friday 9-5 (except Tuesday which is 9-2). Come check out all of the free clothing, footwear, children’s items and more! The free store is not just for families in need, but for everyone. It is a green initiative to keep things out of the landfill. Reduce, reuse, recycle! Come check it out and get amazing things that are new to you completely free. There are not very many rules, but the most important is that you are not allowed to sell any of the items that you get from the free store. We don’t accept books except for children’s books. And we don’t have space for larger furniture and household items.
