WBH Secretary Lisa Kreutziger Honored with CASDA Friends of Education Award

Congratulations to Walter B. Howard Secretary Lisa Kreutziger, who will be honored with the Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) Friends of Education Award. CASDA presents this award to recognize the selfless contributions of individuals who dedicate themselves to serving students and enriching their school communities.

Mrs. Kreutziger has been an integral part of the New Lebanon Central School District for over 30 years, spending most of her time as the secretary at Walter B. Howard Elementary School. She has made a difference in countless students, families, teachers, and staff’s lives as she has always helped lead our elementary school to continued success. When anyone has a question about the history of the district or our community, Lisa has the answer. She has worked tirelessly to build relationships with our families and their children, and has been a constant at WBH even through times of transition. When the district was looking for a tax collector, Lisa stepped up and has taken on the duties for our community.

“Lisa is a true pillar of our school community. There is no one more deserving of this award. We truly appreciate Lisa’s commitment and dedication to our school district. I can’t wait to celebrate Lisa and honor her contributions to our community,” Superintendent Kourt.

Mrs. Kreutziger will be honored at the CASDA Annual Awards and Friends of Education Celebration on Thursday, April 25th at The Century House in Latham, NY.
