Third Grade Students Release Crayfish To Their Natural Habitat

Last Thursday, Mrs. Jubie’s science class released the crayfish they had been studying and observing in the classroom back into their natural habitat. The 3rd graders really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a crayfish during their science unit about living things and ecosystems. On their “walking field trip” behind the school, Ms. Rank also led the students by using a compass in order to practice their geography skills. It was a fun adventure that our 3rd graders look forward to every year!
