Congratulations to senior London Exley for receiving the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award from Hendrick Hudson Chapter, NSDAR. London was chosen for this award by the New Lebanon Jr./Sr. High School Scholarship Committee based on his demonstrated dependability, service leadership, and patriotism qualities. The DAR later chose him as their chapter’s winner among other high school applicants across Columbia County. Every high school in Columbia County is eligible to nominate seniors for this award- London was chosen as the sole winner out of all Columbia County schools.
London will now go on to the next round of awards for the Northeastern Division DAR Good Citizen Award. The Northeastern Division comprises 7 states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Good luck to London in this next round!
