The NLCSD is currently accepting ongoing applications for a Registered Nurse to provide medical support for our students. The successful candidate will serve the district in various nursing capacities
Position Overview:
A 10-month, full-time, licensed Registered Nurse is needed to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will serve the district.
Responsibilities:
Provide basic healthcare to students and staff.
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct screenings, first aid, and healthcare assessments.
Coordinate with parents, teachers, and administrators to accommodate the healthcare needs of students.
Collaborate with district physician
Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations and school policies.
Maintain health and attendance records.
Monitor and report trends in student and staff health to the district.
State reporting.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid RN license in New York.
Experience in a school setting is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Compensation:
Rate based on experience.
