Last month, students in Mrs. Covert’s Studio Art class visited Williams College Art Museum to learn about abstract art.
Students viewed the entire collection but the trip focused mostly on Abstract art, primarly on Franz West and his sculputures. The class also had a chance to create a book from a temporary press. the objectives of the trip was to understand abstraction and to write an art criticsm essay on the work of their choice.
