New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School’s Hotel and Restaurant Management students went on a field trip to the Cranwell Resort, Spa, and Golf Club in Lenox, Massachusetts last month.
The general manager, Carl Pratt, gave them a tour of the property and showed them dining rooms, kitchens, walk-in freezers, the spa, guest rooms, conference rooms, and banquet rooms.
Michelle Daus, who teaches the course, said, “He pretty much showed us everything and anything there was to see. The Cranwell staff provided us with an incredible lunch and did a Q&A while we ate.”
She added, “The kids learned a lot and still reference some of the things they did and saw there.”
