Students in Ms. Michelle Daus’ Intro to Business class are practicing basic economic concepts they’ve been discussing in class, such as competition, opportunity cost, and tradeoffs, by competing to collect the most points for items that will be sent to troops overseas.
The three teams will each receive one (1) point for each individually wrapped snack and two (2) points for each letter addressed to an American soldier they collect. The team that has the most points will be deemed the winning team.
Each team has a box in the main office for anyone wishing to help the students in their competition. The last day items will be collected is Monday, Sept. 30.
