The event is an extension of the college’s Dr. Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King Lecture series on non-violence. It was an opportunity for middle and high school students to work together to oppose prejudice and bigotry.

At this workshop, students met in small groups and were involved in discussions, activities and action planning with peers from across the Capital Region. Discussions focused on prejudice, tolerance and respect, and how students can act as leaders with these topics within their schools.
