Students Visit Williams College Art Museum

Students view art at Williams College of ArtMs. Brooks Studio Art classes and Drawing and Painting class went to Williams College Art museum this autumn to view the current contemporary art exhibit “Your smarter than me and I don’t care” as well as view the current works on display. Students enjoyed an informative art history lesson, then toured the gallery and found a work of art they liked best, and responded to the work by writing a reflection in their handmade journal.  Many of the works viewed were in response to a specific culture at a given period of time, responses to war, identity and social issues. A good time was had by all! See more photos from museum visit.
