Ms. Brooks Studio Art classes and Drawing and Painting class went to Williams College Art museum this autumn to view the current contemporary art exhibit “Your smarter than me and I don’t care” as well as view the current works on display. Students enjoyed an informative art history lesson, then toured the gallery and found a work of art they liked best, and responded to the work by writing a reflection in their handmade journal. Many of the works viewed were in response to a specific culture at a given period of time, responses to war, identity and social issues. A good time was had by all! See more photos from museum visit.
