Walter B. Howard Elementary students and faculty created puzzle pieces for a giant puzzle mural displayed in the front entrance of the school. Art Teacher Mia Karlowich coordinated the planning and design of the mural. Each student received a small rectangle which they were allowed to design in their own way. Ms. Karlowich explained to students that the puzzle represents our school community. Each student makes up a part of our community and we all work together just like each piece of the puzzle.
