Dear Families,
We have a lot to be proud of here at WBH! We truly have the most dedicated, hardworking, and talented faculty and staff around. It takes many special people to build a successful school community. Two of our very talented faculty and staff members are being recognized for going beyond the call of duty:
~ Jeff Maclutsky one of our grade 5/6 teachers was nominated and a recipient of Channel 13’s Top Teacher Awards. Channel 13 recently visited Jeff’s classroom. This story will be aired on Channel 13 on Wednesday (4/6/16) at 5:30, Thursday (4/7/16) at 6am, and the story will be posted on Channel 13’s web-site. Be sure to check it out.
~ Jay Freeman, one of our cleaners was also recently nominated and a recipient of a local award. This award is through an educational group called CASDA, the award is called the “Friends of Education Award.” This award goes to school community members who make a true difference and go beyond their call of duty.
