Dear Families,
This morning a student had a prescription bottle of fluoride on the school bus. He offered the chewable tablets to another student, along with a vitamin C tablet. We are very proud that a student knew to report this activity to his driver, who immediately followed up with administration. Though there was no negative health result from this event, it provides an opportunity to revisit issues around medications – especially those medications that may be tasty or may look like candy.
