Today, Governor Cuomo announced that all schools in New York state can reopen after the data showed all regions are well below the required infection rate. We are continuing to plan for a return to school while ensuring our students and staff are as safe as possible in our buildings. As we have shared previously, remote learning will be part of the 2020-2021 school year. A plan detailing what remote learning will look like this year is available on our website at www.newlebanoncsd.org/reopening.
The Governor also announced today that schools must hold three parent meetings by August 21 to share information with parents on the return to school. We will share those dates as soon as they are finalized.
