New Lebanon CSD Adds Three-Hour Delay Option

As of March 2, the New Lebanon Central School District has used up four out of five of its snow days, as permitted by the New York State Department of Education. If warranted based on weather and road conditions, the district could implement a three-hour delay. In the future, message recordings and postings related to delayed openings will clearly state whether we are on a two-hour or a three-hour delay.

However, the District’s first priority is the safety of its students and staff. The district can and will take additional snow days if winter weather causes travel to become unsafe. Please be aware that this would affect the current school calendar, as the district is required by law to have no fewer than 180 days of instruction. Read letter here.
