For the second year, New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School’s Appetites Anonymous/Food Club will be sponsoring a Thanksgiving Dinner for the community on Saturday, Nov. 23. The dinner will be held in the school cafeteria from 4:30-6 p.m. The cost is free.
To help the club plan for the appropriate amount of food to serve, community members who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by November 20. The number at the Jr/Sr. High School is 794-7600.
“We hope that people who may not be able to enjoy a turkey dinner otherwise will take advantage of it,” said Michelle Daus, club advisor.
New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School’s Appetites Anonymous/Food Club is focused on helping students who are interested in learning more about advanced cooking techniques and exploring careers in this industry.
