With the help of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, we were able to help distribute 17,000 pounds of food July 27 to approximately 200 families during the Community Food Giveaway.
“A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their morning to help out at our bi-weekly food giveaway. It was absolutely incredible and would not be possible without our many volunteers,” said Walter B. Howard Elementary School Principal Andrew Kourt.
The next two Community Food Giveaways will be Monday, Aug. 10 and Monday, Aug. 24 at 8:00 a.m.
