Capital Project Phase Three has been approved by the State Education Department to begin at the Jr./Sr. High School, Walter B. Howard Elementary School, and bus garage. Phase Three is the continuation of the $11,855,000 capital project approved by voters in May 2017.
The approved projects are as follows:
-Updating building controls at both the Jr./Sr. High School and WBH.
-Installation of a water softener at WBH.
-New flooring at WBH.
-Electrical work at all three buildings.
-Repairs and replacement of the ceiling and windows in the Jr./Sr. High School gymnasium
-A new fire alarm system in the bus garage.
-A new fuel island in the bus garage.
-A new fitness center at the Jr./Sr. High School.
This work will begin in July and is expected to continue into the fall with little distraction to our students.
