Today Questar III BOCES hosted a professional development day for over 3,000 educators and staff from 18 different districts including NLCSD. New Lebanon teachers and staff are gathered across 13 different school districts in our region for professional development based on different educational topics.
New Lebanon CSD hosted science teachers (grades 3-8) from all over the region to learn new skills that can be applied to their teaching.
WBH science teacher Chris Bonacquisti, middle school science teacher Lauren Giglio, Questar III Science Specialist Stacey Giordano, and Questar III Science Specialist Christine Charsky are providing teachers with new skills for student engagement, sharing best practices and strategies for teaching, techniques for 3D learning, new state standards for science, and state required science investigations.
