After a week off due to illness, the girls modified team traveled to Waterford on Saturday morning. The girls came out of the gate on fire. Lilly Meyers put the first points on the board and ended up with 6 overall. 2nd high scorer was Allie Manchester with 4 points. Team cohesiveness was evident with 6 other players each contributing a bucket: Emma Shorter, Alicia Minkler, Grace Pelletier, Morgan Sharpe, Amaya Brown and Layla Yerdon. Our defense was strong too and we ended up with a 22-12 win over Waterford. Layla Yerdon was our player of the game.
