The Berkshire Individuals swim meet took place on Saturday at New Lebanon High School for the first time and the BNL team had an outstanding meet. It started with 8th grader Lance Schroder hitting Sectional qualifying times in the 100 & 200 Freestyle. Seniors Carol Kirsimagi & Carlton Truax continued that momentum by dropping times in each of their individual events. Carol swam in the 200 Individual Medley & the 500 Freestyle and Carlton in the 50 Free and the 100 Breaststroke. Alex Sotk continued her dominance in the pool by winning both the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Backstroke. The meet concluded with some history, the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Alex Sotek, Lance Schroder, Liam Buckenroth & Allison Slater placed first in the 400 Freestyle Relay for the first time at Individuals.
Other personal best times from the meet are as follows: Riley Schwartz, Finn Buckenroth, Holly White & Cadence Ward in both the 50 & 100 Freestyle, Jaezsa Bartolotta in the 100 Free. Season best times for Allison Slater and Liam Buckenroth in the 500 Freestyle.
