Fire Prevention Assembly

Firefighters from the Lebanon Valley Protective Association visited Walter B. Howard Elementary on October 10 to talk to students about fire safety. Firefighters focused on the importance of smoke detectors. Another goal of this visit was to make the children feel comfortable and safe around the firefighters who, in their full gear, can be frightening to a child with no previous interaction.

Students also had the opportunity to look at fire fighter gear and equipment in the WBH parking lot. Thank you for visiting our school and helping keep our students safe!
