The BackPack Program of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York currently provides backpacks full of nutritious foods each week to 30 children in the New Lebanon CSD. This helps to ensure they won’t go hungry when other resources aren’t available over the weekend.
The program costs $5,500 a year or approximately $183 per backpack. The program is supported through donations from community members. Please consider donating to the program. See this flyer for more information on how you can help.
