What is your education background?
I graduated high school from Maple Hill in Schodack. I graduated college with a B.A in Biology from Russell Sage. My M.A.T in Biology came from the Sage Graduate School. I also have an Advanced Certificate of Study in Special Education from St. Rose.
What is your background like – previous jobs?
I have taught at LaSalle School in Albany from July 2008 to June of this year. There I taught general science, Regents Living Environment and Sign Language. I had been at Albany Leadership Charter High School this summer doing credit recovery classes in Regents Living Environment.
Tell us about your family?
I married my high school sweetheart and together we have 2 beautiful girls ages three and one. We live on his family’s dairy farm.
What are your interests outside of school?
Outside of school I attend events with the autism society of Albany, since my daughter is diagnosed. I am a science fiction geek. I love traveling, my favorite being Disney World. I also am very crafty.
