Community to Vote on Budget – Tuesday, May 17

The community will vote on the 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday, May 17 from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Walter B. Howard Elementary Gymnasium. The proposed 2016-17 budget strengthens programs for students, maximizes resources and prioritizes fiscal responsibility. The $12,554,205 budget represents a decrease in spending over the current year’s budget. In addition to staying below the calculated tax levy limit, the proposed budget includes a 0% tax levy increase for the sixth consecutive year.
