Walter B. Howard RTI students welcomed a few new friends, last week. Twelve healthy chicks were born, after students observed the incubation process in the classroom. Students kept a journal, discussed predictions, and participated in candling (the process of shining a light behind an egg, to observe its interior).
Thank you to the Hillard family, who donated the incubator and the eggs to Michelle Bruns’ class.
