The New Lebanon Central School Board, with the help of Questar, launched a search for a new Superintendent of Schools last fall. While we were able to come down to a few excellent finalists, the Board has made the difficult decision to withdraw from any further negotiations at this time. We are going to continue with our current interim Superintendent, Chris Harper, for two more school years. He has generously agreed to stay on and continue to guide us through these turbulent financial times. The Board feels his experience is vital to put our district on a firm financial footing and position us for the uncertain future. There is much more work to be done, and working together, New Lebanon can continue to be a place where children can learn and grow to be adults that we can all be proud of.
