Special Education Mediation for Families
December 8, 10:00–12:00 p.m. on Zoom
Do you have unresolved concerns about your child’s special education classification, services, or placement? This session will help families learn more about dispute resolution options and the Special Education Basic Mediation process. Preschool and school-age parents, families, and professionals who work with students with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
Building Reading Skills at Home: How to Support Your Child’s Vocabulary
December 15, 9:30–11:00 a.m. on Zoom
This session is for families of children ages 3–8 who want strategies to support early reading skills at home. Learn how to turn everyday activities into extra support for your child’s reading and vocabulary development.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Registrants will receive a Zoom link 2–3 days before the event.
