District Assessing Childcare Needs in Community

In keeping in line with our goal of supporting our community during the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, we are looking to assess the childcare needs in our district, particularly those of healthcare workers and first responders (as required by the State Education Department)

We are currently exploring options including expanding existing licensed childcare programs in the district and partnering with surrounding community-based organizations such as the YMCA to offer care.

If you are a licensed healthcare worker (physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistants, RN, LPN, nurse assistant, laboratory personnel) or a first responder (paramedic, EMT, police officer, or firefighter) and are having difficulty finding childcare, please contact the district office at (518) 794-7600, Option 3. Due to limited staff in the office at this time, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Phone messages are collected several times daily and are monitored through email.
