4th Graders Learn About Electricity Through Distance Learning

Walter B. Howard’s fourth grade students participated in an Electricity E-Lab on Jan. 24. Through a Distance Learning experience, the lab director guided them in making predictions and asking questions as they discovered how to build parallel and series circuits.

“This interactive lesson enhanced their knowledge of how electricity works, which has been a large focus in our Electricity and Energy unit,” said Miss Rank, one of WBH’s 4th grade teachers.

Distance Learning is a way of simply opening our students up to experiences that are not available through traditional instruction or through traditional field trips. In WBH, Distance Learning takes the form of virtual field trips.
