NLCSD Establish Scope of Work for Renovation Project

Renovation Project will address safety, security & infrastructureGraphic of Renovation Project Steps

The New Lebanon Central School District Facilities Committee has been working diligently to establish the scope of a renovation project to present to the community in the spring.  The needed renovations address security, efficiency and outdated or obsolete facilities.  Both the Walter B. Howard Elementary and the Jr/Sr High facilities will be addressed in the project.

“This renovation project continues our long term approach to financial planning and responsibility.  The committee’s goals are to address infrastructure needs of the district, and to set the district up to meet the needs of our community for the next 20 years,” said Superintendent Leslie Whitcomb.

The renovation project is tentatively slated for a public vote in May 2017. Details about this project will be shared as information and drawings become available, and a detailed newsletter will be mailed to each resident.
