BNL Girls Modified Soccer vs. Hoosick Falls 9/21
In the first game of their season, the Girls Modified Soccer team took on Hoosick Falls. BNL and Hoosick Falls were evenly matched throughout the game. Vivenne Powers (NL) scored a goal in the first quarter then Hoosick Falls came back and scored 2 in a row in the second quarter. Vivienne scored two more goals while the BNL defense held strong in the third quarter. Lilly Meyers (Berlin) had 2 goals in the fourth quarter, ending our game 5-2. Emma Shorter had 2 assists and Anna Ward had many great saves on goal. CONGRATULATIONS BNL!

BNL Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Hoosick Falls 9/21
What a beautiful fall day for some soccer. Berlin- New Lebanon scored 4 goals in the first half and one in the second. Matt Corsey started the scoring by knocking in his first goal as a Varsity soccer player and stayed a threat throughout the game adding at least one assist. Matt Hart filled his dance card with a brace, scoring two goals, Gabriel Hart couldn’t let his big bro be the only one in the family to score a goal, and lifted one past the goalie. Not to be out done by his pals, Danny Hunt decided to stop passing the ball so much and take a few shots himself, he scored one. Many people made great contributions on the field, it was a good day to be out there. Final score 5-1. Congrats BOYS!
