Jessica Bosso scored her first goal of her varsity career to bring BNL to 2-1, where they pressed and controlled much of the game in the last twenty minutes. Greenwich were able to put a third goal away minutes before the final whistle. BNL Modified & Varsity Cross Country vs.Stillwater and Spa Catholic at SPAC 10/12

The BNL Modified & Varsity XC Team ran at SPAC against Stillwater and Spa Catholic. It was a beautiful fall afternoon in Saratoga for a race.

The modified XC team was the first race of the night. The BNL boys gave it their all in the 1.6 mile race. Jacob Olin crushed his race, coming in 3rd place, with an 11:29. Richard Bachner followed right behind him with an 11:46 coming in 5th place. Finn Buckenroth came in 9th place with a 12:54. With incredible drive, Noah Bonesteel came soon after with a 14:22.

Next, the Girls and Boys Varsity race ran into the sunset. The BNL team put in some amazing hard work and effort on the 3.1 mile SPAC course. The course offered a challenging long uphill battle, but that was no match for our hill-loving team. A few stillwater boys came in fast, but right up in the front line came Gabe Kalisz with an incredible 18:21! Not too far behind him the BNL boys started to trickle into the finish line. A huge surprise came to our eyes as we witnessed Eben Donohue closing the gap between our BNL boys team with a 23:07 time. Making his way closer and closer to the middle of the pack. Special shoutout to Nicholas Mosher who also crushed his goal time with a 26:37! The team has been seeing Nick improve nonstop as the season continues.

More highlights and announcements to come as we return to Saratoga this Saturday for the Burnt Hills invitational.

Way to go BNL!
