BNL played Greenwich in the mud yesterday and came out victorious. The match started with both teams battling back and forth to find the first goal. Both sides were building play through the midfield but could not get past the back lines of either team. BNL came out of halftime hungry and ready to go, 33 mins left #15 Chinchetru swung in a perfect ball to #13 Hart for the first goal of the match. BNL wouldn’t back down and doubled their shots in the second half from the first. With 18 mins left #7 Willis put a free kick into the box where #11 Buckenroth took a self volley and buried the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-0 BNL. Culbertson had 8 saves to get a shutout with excellent help from his team. BNL travels to Cambridge Wednesday for a 4:30 match up. – Coach Burhans
