9/21 BNL Coach Recaps and Photos Highlights

BNL JV Girls Soccer vs SPA Catholic 

Despite controlling the ball and playing well, the BNL Girls JV Soccer team lost to SPA Catholic 2-1.  Madison Bell scored with an assist from Tylie Dodge.  Outstanding midfield play by Zoey Cahill gave our offense an opportunity and shots were taken, but BNL couldn’t find the net.  Ashlee Evans had 21 saves in the goal!  Vivian Whelan & Claudia Stickles held SPA Catholic at Bay.  The girls play Tamarac at home Friday @ 4:30pm

BNL Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. Stillwater 9/20

BNL Varsity Girls Volleyball lost in 3 to Stillwater. The team played well the first match then they were outplayed the last two.
The team has the talent we just need to use it together as one. We still have time left to get some victories.

BNL Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. Spa Catholic 9/17

BNL Varsity Girls Volleyball had a tough match on Friday against Spa Catholic. The team lost 3-0 in sets. The last two games the team played well, but still have things to work on.

BNL Modified Girls Volleyball vs. Stillwater Coach Recap 9/20

The modified girls volleyball teams did it again! Both teams won their matches against Stillwater last night. The B team won their match with back-to-back wins. 25-22 for the 1st set and 25-16 for the 2nd. Izzy Bink was player of the game because of her mad hustle and constant chatter.  The A team came ready to play and won their 1st set 25-12. In the 2nd set, we had a lot of volleying but came up short against a great server and lost 22-25. In the deciding set, Team Captain and player of the game, Maddysyn Kreutziger, rallied her team to a 25-22 win. The girls play again this Wednesday in the new gym at Walter B. Howard Elementary School at 5:30pm. We will face 2 teams from Brunswick. Masked and socially distanced community members are invited to attend.

BNL Varsity Girls Soccer vs Amsterdam 9/18

The BNL Girls Varsity Soccer team lost a tough championship game to Amsterdam 3-0 in the BNL tournament. Amsterdam possessed the ball well and were a formidable challenge for the young BNL squad. Keeper, Becca Madsen earned 16 saves in goal in the match. BNL continues their season with an away trip to Stillwater tomorrow under the lights at 7:00.
