WBH Students Build a Butterfly Garden

WBH teachers Becky Griffith and Matt Albreacht turned the school courtyard into a butterfly garden, with their students. They built raised beds and set them up in the garden, later planting flowers, pumpkins, strawberries, and blackberries. Electric Bus Exit Poll

During the budget vote, an informal poll was taken as voters entered and exited. They were asked if they would support the purchase of electric buses. The results were 37 YES and 116 NO, as shown in the attached image. Thank you to everyone that participated.

School Backpack Program Needs Your Help

The New Lebanon Central School District Backpack Program provides food for students over weekends and other times when school breakfast and lunch are not available. It is designed to meet the needs of food insecure families by providing them with child-friendly, non-perishable, easy-to-prepare meals. May 19 Voting Outcomes

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026–27 school budget vote.  The proposed budget received 336 votes in favor and 235 against. While the majority of voters did vote in favor of passing the proposed budget, a 60% supermajority vote was required.
