BNL Bowling Coach Recap 1/26

The bowling team rolled a hard-fought loss against Spa Catholic on Thursday night (1/26) . After losing the first game by a slim margin, BNL bounced back to take a point for game two. The point did not hold up for total though, as Spa Catholic rolled one of their best games of the season during game three, securing the 4-1 Saratoga victory. Logan Dunlop led both teams with high series of the day, rolling 168, 225, 181 for a 574. Fellow senior Alex Reinhart was next with a 477, rolling 181, 120, 176. Freshman Logan Horton had a consistent day; 139, 149, 150 for 438. Shoutout to Vivian Whelan, Graziella Hartman, and Lilley DeClair for stepping up to Varsity for the match.

All three bowlers put forth their best effort and Vivian was consistent on the day with high games of 120 and 112. Curtis Hurd improved every game on JV, finishing the day with a nice 117 for game three. The team travels back to Saratoga to face all teams in the Wasaren league in an all-day event on Tuesday, 1/31. Then, on Wednesday 2/1, the team will celebrate its final match of the regular season, and Senior Night, at home against Hoosic Valley. Good luck and good bowling! -Coach Marbot and Coach Slaver
