NL residents approve all ballot propositions, elect two BOE members

  • Residents of the New Lebanon Central School District approved all three of the propositions on the ballot May 16, including an $11,855,000 million renovation project and a $12,409,824 million budget for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Proposition 2: $8,755,000 District-Wide Renovations, passed by a vote of 269 (yes) to 134 (no).
  • Proposition 3: $3,100,000 Gym Addition Renovation at Walter B. Howard Elementary School passed by a vote of 248 (yes) to 155 (no). We would like to thank everyone in our community who came out to vote.

Jr/Sr High School

Seal existing fire rated walls – where found (Allowance)
Renovate locker rooms. Provide separate ADA compliant toilet with exterior access.

Kiln to be relocated to a new rated/code compliant location
Replace existing Maintenance Building with new metal building.

Pave parking lot at demolished building site and provide entrance according to state highway regulations.
Athletic improvements (replace baseball backstop, provide paved ADA access to ball field)
Resurface long jump event area at existing track

Walter B. Howard Elementary School
