Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with deep regret that I write to you about a tragic event in our school community. The Sheriff’s Department has informed us this evening of the sad news that one of our teachers, Michelle Schrader, has died after she was reported missing on Sunday. Michelle was a cherished member of our school community and our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
I wanted to share this painful news so you have an opportunity to talk with your child if you so choose. Please know that we have already convened our school crisis team and we will have counselors and other staff available Tuesday morning for any student or faculty, staff or community member who needs support.
