NL Online Summer School Option

This summer, New Lebanon is happy to announce an online summer school option through Educere for 9-12th grade students in need of credit recovery. This pathway is for students who have failed a core class during the 2016- 2017 year with final grade of 64% or lower. It is a priority to the district that our students remain on grade level and ultimately graduate with their cohort. We are very excited to be able to provide a more student- centered approach to summer school, and eliminate the burden of traveling to a neighboring district for instruction.

Student/family of student responsibilities include signing up for the class(es) online, as well as paying for that course. Registration must take place by June 27, 2017 at 11:59 PM. The student must complete the course no later than August 11, 2017 by 11:59 PM. The cost of courses is $195.00 per class. Please see Educere’s website for course listings and to register: https://www.educere.net/myCourses.asp?pageID=4068.7987

If you are interested in retaking a Regents exam this August, Mrs. Evans can register you to retake exam(s) at Hudson High School. Each exam is $50. If you would like to register, please bring checks made out to “HCSD Summer School” to Mrs. Evans in the School Counseling Office no later than Tuesday, June 27. Mrs. Evans will register you for the exam, and mail your checks directly to Hudson. No late payments will be accepted.
