WBH is trying something new for Halloween. From 5-6 p.m., the school will host a Trunk and Treat event. “Trunkers” (We don’t have a better name, but we’re open to suggestions) will come to offer treats from their car trunks to the treaters. Trunkers will park in the bus circle. If more space is needed, cars will also park (trunk to the curb) along the sidewalk in the visitors spots. We ask that trunkers sign up ahead of time, but we’ll also take sign-ups on Halloween as cars come in.
“I’m really hoping that parents and members of the community will join in the spirit to create a fun community event for our kids, many of whom do not live where trick or treating is easy to accomplish,” said Principal Whitcomb.
