Dear Families,
I hope you and your family are off to a great spring. As your principal, I want to reflect a bit on our amazing school community. I am incredibly fortunate to be able to work with the most amazing students, the most talented and dedicated teachers, and the hardest working staff. Please join me in celebrating our amazing faculty and staff: Last Wednesday, April 24th was secretaries day. Our school would not run as smoothly if it was not for our amazing secretaries: Ms. Kreutziger, Ms. Keegan, and Ms. Leonard. Monday, May 6th is Nurse’s day, a big thank you to our wonderful school nurse, Mrs. Seyerlein. Teacher and staff appreciation week is Monday, May 6th to Friday, May 10th. During this week, we will be thanking and celebrating our wonderful teachers and staff for all that they do for our students. If you see or talk to one of these amazing people, be sure to thank them for always going beyond their call of duty!
As you may have heard our speech teacher, Ms. Count has been out on medical leave for the past couple weeks. She had a serious fall and hurt both of her legs. Please join me in sending positive thoughts to Ms. Count during her recovery. We hope to have her back here at WBH in no time..
I am very proud of our school’s achievements with attendance. Over the past couple months we have seen some great progress with student attendance. Thank you for your support with this very important initiative. Attendance matters!!! With spring approaching, we have several exciting activities and events planned at WBH. I want to spend the rest of this update highlighting some of these great activities:
