Elementary students learned about different occupations during Career Day at Walter B. Howard Elementary School on Thursday, June 6. This was the second year that the event has been held, and a huge success with more than twenty professionals sitting down with classes. During the day, students had the opportunity to learn about exciting careers from people who work in those fields.
Invited professionals included an attorney, doctor, cosmetologist, farmer, architect, EMT, police officer and pediatric nurse to name a few.
