On Monday, May 2 senior Caitlyn Williams was awarded the Berkshire Bank Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. Two staff members from the bank came to surprise her with a plaque, flowers and balloons. The award will be dispersed to her school directly in the fall (SUNY Cortland). Congratulations!
The Berkshire Bank Foundation Scholarship Awards Program provides thirty (30) $1,500 scholarships to seniors attending a high school in a city or town of Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Vermont served by Berkshire Bank or where the bank has a presence. The scholarships are awarded to students through a competitive application process based on academic standing, financial need and record of community service. Children of bank employees are eligible to apply and should contact the Foundation directly for more information.
