On Wednesday, May 18, CASDA hosted their 30th Annual Scholars’ Recognition Dinner at the Albany Marriot. This yearly event honors graduating seniors from local area high schools based on their scholarship, leadership and service to their schools and communities. Each of these students is also asked to identify a teacher who had the most significant influence on them. This year, New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School chose Kalee Hennig to receive this accolade. Kalee selected 11th and 12th grade English teacher, Brooke Dickson, as the teacher who had the most remarkable impact on her education. Kalee said, “Mrs. Dickson has helped me to significantly improve my public speaking and essay writing skills. Furthermore, she has prepared me for future college endeavors.”
