New Lebanon CSD Welcomes New Business Administrator Kevin Fottrell

Kevin Fortrell at his deskKevin Fottrell has joined New Lebanon Central School District as its new business administrator. He succeeds Mike Los, who left to take a position with Questar III BOCES.

Mr. Fottrell comes to the district with more than 15 years working in public schools as a business teacher. Prior to working in New Lebanon, Mr. Fottrell was a business teacher at Bethlehem Central, Berkshire UFSD, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk and Colonie Central High School. For the past 22 years, he has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College and currently at Siena College where he teaches a senior capstone business class. In addition, he has 24 years of experience in the private sector as a manager and director of training.

“I believe Kevin will be a great asset to New Lebanon,” said Superintendent Leslie Whitcomb. “His commitment to public education and vast experience make him the right person to oversee our long-term financial plans and build upon the district’s sound financial foundation.”

“I am thrilled to be joining the New Lebanon CSD administrative team and serving the school community. I look forward to working collaboratively with our students, staff, parents, and community to continue the success for our students,” said Fottrell.

Mr. Fottrell holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Certification as a School Business Leader from the University at Albany and Certification as a School District Business Leader from the College of Saint Rose.
