What is your education background?
I have a bachelor’s in music education and a masters degree in music technology, both from the College of Saint Rose.
What is your background like – previous jobs?
I’m beginning my 19th year teaching, having spent my previous 18 at Catskill Central Schools in Catskill, NY. I’ve taught at The College of Saint Rose and perform professionally nearly 100 times a year.
Tell us about your family?
I’ve been married to my beautiful wife, Jenn, for 13 years and we have two creative, intelligent and talented boys: Ryan and Tommy.
What are your interests outside of school?
Outside of school, I perform both in my band and as a solo acoustic act all around the country. I have performed with performers like country artist Blake Shelton, hip-hop legends Naughty By Nature and share writing credits with the legendary Quincy Jones. I also enjoy riding my Harley, playing with my Jack Russell Terrier and going to the beach as much as humanly possible.
