New Lebanon Central School District sports fans can now follow the Athletic Department on Twitter. Scores, highlights and schedule changes will be posted on the “NLCSD_Athletics” Twitter account and sent to its “followers.”
Twitter is a free service that allows people and organizations to share brief messages, or “tweets,” up to 140 characters. Following someone on Twitter simply means receiving their Twitter updates or “tweets” on your Twitter home page. New messages are added to your home page as people post them, so you always get the updates in real time. You can also get updates from your phone.
If you want to follow Athletics on Twitter, go to https://twitter.com/NLCSD_Athletics. Once there, you can choose to create your own account which will enable you to automatically receive updates. Just be sure to select “follow.”
NLCSD_Athletic “followers” are reminded to be respectful and show good sportsmanship. If “followers” post inappropriate messages, they will be blocked from receiving further tweets. We would ask all followers to comply with the district’s student and athletic codes of conduct as well as the Board of Education Policies and Procedures.
